These resources have been created with a brief of providing an engaging, interactive environment for children both in English (text only) and BSL (British Sign Language) to encourage literacy among Deaf children in the UK. This was commissioned by the BBC.

Overview
The Performing Hands resource is packed full of games, activities and stories to help young Deaf Learner master BSL and written English.
It is hosted by the world's first online BSL signing, real-time avatars. These enable a wide range of hitherto unachievable dialogue games and literacy tools.
The resulting product, comprising of over 40 stories amd 20+ games has fully exploited the capabilities of Flash and Director in particular. It will become available in due course through the BBC.
